The IFEA Foundation is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization, managed by an elected and non-compensated board of directors. It was formed in 1993 with a mission of ensuring that the IFEA has the resources to fulfill its own educational mission.

Since its inception, the IFEA Foundation has been a primary partner of the IFEA’s, working together to continue raising the level of professionalism in our industry, along with the level of recognition and awareness for the industry and those who work in it, by the media and the general public. Through the provision of:

• Certified Festival & Event Executive (CFEE and CFEA) Program
• Funding of top quality speakers
• Educational publications
• Technology and electronic training services
